10th Ingermanland Hussar Regiment of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar

The 10th Ingrian Hussar Regiment of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar/10-й гусарский Ингерманландский Его Королевского Высочества Великого Герцога Саксен-Веймарского полк (from July 26, 1914, the 10th Ingrian Hussar Regiment/10-й гусарский Ингерманландский Его Королевского Высочества Великого Герцога Саксен-Веймарского полк) was a cavalry unit of the Russian Imperial Army. From 1875 to 1918, it was part of the 10th Cavalry Division. The regiment's seniority dates back to July 27, 1704 when in Moscow, the boyar T. N. Streshnev formed the 10-company Ingermanland Dragoon Regiment from Moscow and city noble minors. From March 30, 1841 named Hussar Regiment of the Crown Prince of Saxe-Weimar, on the occasion of the appointment of the chief. Regimental holiday - November 27, icon of the Mother of God "Sign"

On December 7, 1908, in memory of the 200th anniversary of the regiment (that was celebrated on July 27, 1904), the badge of the 10th Ingermanland Hussar Regiment was approved by the Emperor Nicolaus II.

Straight gold cross is elongated upper edges. The left and upper rays are covered in yellow enamel and the lower and right in red. The cross is beneath the gold Imperial crown and laid on a gold ring covered in green, yellow and black enamel (The Weimar ribbon). Between the rays of the cross, on the ring, are the gold cyphers of the Emperors Peter I, Alexander I, Nicholas I and Nicholas II beneath gold Imperial crowns.​
