
Robert Stopford (Royal Navy officer) - Wikipedia
As Vice Admiral on board HMS Princess Charlotte and subsequently HMS Phoenix, he was in command of the combined British, Turkish, and Austrian fleet during the bombardment of Acre on 3 November 1840. On November 16, 1840 he was awaded with 2nd class St.George order.
