Gifu Army Flight School /岐阜陸軍飛行学校/ was established in August 1940 with the main purpose of educating pilot candidates and non-commissioned officer candidates. The school headquarters /and school headquarters/ were located in Unuma Village, Inaba District, Gifu Prefecture (present-day eastern Kakamigahara City). School also has several branches. It was closed in April 1943.
