Knight Commander’s set that was awarded to Danish born Thai Admiral Andreas du Plessis de Richelieu (1852-1930), who commanded the Thai forces at Phra Chulachomklao Fortress during the Paknam incident, 16 July 1893 in the Franco-Siamese war. He was C. in C. Royal Thai Navy 16 Jan. 1900-29 Jan 1901, the only non-Thai citizen to hold the office.
