Maker's mark ВР /В.Р./ often incorrectly attributed to silversmith and blacksmith Rukavishnikov Vasily Egorovich who indeed used the very same maker's mark ВР /or ВЕР/. Known periods of activity: 1890s and after 1908. Periodically sold his products through the store of Sh.M. Belenky. /Рукавишников Василий Егорович - серебряного и черневого дел мастер. Москва. Производство известно в 1890-е и после 1908 года. Периодически продавал свои изделия через магазин Ш.М. Беленького/.
But in reality, this mark was also used by a workshop of Vasily Petrovich Rakhmanov /Василий Петрович Рахманов/ that was founded in 1898 and specialized in making order, badges and jettons while Rukavishnikov workshop was specialized in making jewelry.
